  • Veterans Accountability and Whistleblowers Protection Act to allow the Department of Veterans Affairs to fire failing employees and safeguard the whistleblowers. Over 4,000 VA employees removed for poor performance.

  • VA Veterans Choice Program and Quality Employment Act of 2017 to authorize $2.1 Billion for the Veterans Choice Program to expand V.A. telehealth services, walk-in-clinics, and same-day urgent primary and mental health care

  • White House VA Hotline staffed by veterans and veteran family members

  • Veteran Suicide prevention program via $8.6Billion in funding mental health services

  • Veterans mental health treatment access as part of transition to civilian life Executive Order.

  • PREVENTS Initiative Task Force to help Veterans - aimed at unifying the efforts of government, businesses, and non-profits.

  • On-line “Access and Quality Tool” for Veterans Affairs to provide veterans a way to access data on wait time and quality of care.

  • Unemployment rate for veterans is at record low of under 3%

  • 9M veterans are employed

  • Unemployment of veterans reduced by 40%

  • Veteran Homelessness Grants of over $400 million

  • Prescription Opioid use in the VA reduced by 64% by the Dept of Veteran Affairs
